Cancellation Policy

1. Rental Terms Event space rental is for gatherings of up to 20 guests maximum. Standard rental fee: $300 for 2.5 hours. Additional time: $75 per hour, billed in full-hour increments. Setup and cleanup must occur within the rental period unless otherwise agreed. 2. Food & Beverage No outside food or beverages are permitted, except celebratory bakery items (e.g., cake, cupcakes). Custom catering menus are available through Common Roots Kitchen at an additional cost. Pricing to be provided separately. Alcohol service is not included in this Agreement. 3. Payment Full payment (100%) is required at the time of booking to secure the event date. Any catering add-ons must also be paid in advance at the time of order confirmation. 4. Cancellation Policy Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled event will receive a full refund of rental and catering charges. Cancellations made between 24–48 hours before the scheduled event will forfeit 50% of the total rental and catering charges. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled event will receive no refund of rental or catering charges. 5. Liability & Indemnification Renter agrees to use the space in a safe and respectful manner. Renter assumes full responsibility for any damages caused to the premises during the rental period. Common Roots Kitchen holds no liability for injuries, accidents, lost or stolen items, or damages incurred during the event. Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Common Roots Kitchen, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims arising from the event. 6. Governing Law This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. 7. Entire Agreement This document constitutes the full understanding between the Parties. Any modifications must be in writing and signed by both Parties.
